During a trip to Dublin, Ohio on February 19 & 20, I had the opportunity to visit the Wendy’s flag ship restaurant and head office. Though they were bitterly cold days, it was sunny and clear for travel.
On March 21, 2019, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago opened the Wired to Wear exhibit.
Today Troop 2119 of Bartlett met for the first time as an official girl troop of Scouts BSA. The troop was established on February 1, 2019 when the Boys Scouts of America formally accepted girls into its Scouts BSA program.
January 20, 2019 – It was a frigid night. Camera and lens were covered with ice in a couple of hours.

Visited Chicago on December 30. Hiked from Union Station to Navy Pier. Enjoyed the view of Chicago on the Centennial Wheel. Took the free trolley to see Cloud Gate aka The Bean. It was a sunny albeit windy and frigid day. Hike distance was about 5.5 miles roundtrip.
We’ve donated food and volunteered at the Friday Fests on September 28 and October 26, and volunteered at the Thanksgiving Dinner on November 15.
One year later…. On October 16, 2018, I met up with the same velociraptor.
