{"id":477,"date":"2015-07-27T05:39:31","date_gmt":"2015-07-27T10:39:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.limnetwork.net\/?p=477"},"modified":"2016-01-17T08:37:28","modified_gmt":"2016-01-17T14:37:28","slug":"my-world-scout-jamboree-adventure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.limnetwork.net\/?p=477","title":{"rendered":"My World Scout Jamboree Adventure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>20 years after my withdrawal from the 1995 World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) in the Netherlands, I am now finally finding myself at the 2015 WSJ in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>It is indeed an experience of a lifetime to be meeting and working with Scouters from around the world! Unlike at the NSJ where\u00a0I was limited by the amount of film for my Pentax LX w\/ Pentax SMC-M 50mm f\/1.4, \u00a0I had to\u00a0conserve battery\u00a0power for my X-E2 at the WSJ. I woke up by 5:00 AM every morning to\u00a0take a shower. The shower unfortunately produced\u00a0hot water only. The toilet turned into\u00a0an oven in the afternoon. People there also gave several parades and shows about Japanese culture. Families from around Japan and Yamaguchi City convened at the WSJ site and bought tickets to join in the Yamaguchi Jamboree Festival.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_623\"
